My laptop just exploded and so did my eyes due to overexposure to awesomeness–> Amy Jackson. The Brit model turned actress, who made her debut in Madarasapattinam, is probably one of the most gorgeous gori mems who have ever graced the silver screen in India. Don’t trust me? Go watch Madarasapattinam. It’s a good film, but the moment Amy Jackson is on screen, nothing else matters. You forget to concentrate on how well the Madras of 1940s has been recreated, you forget to concentrate on the fact that Arya is flexing his muscles while fighting a British Police Officer and even end up forgetting that there are hundred other character artists in the background, when Amy is on screen in that film. Maybe I’ll wait for her next film, Gautham Menon’s Premkatha (remake of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya/Yem Maya Chesave) to write about her acting skills but she was good in her debut film.
AL Vijay, the director who found her during an audition in London, is all praises for her dedication. He claims that even Gautham Menon is impressed with her performance in Premkatha. And if I have heard it right, she’s planning to move to Mumbai pretty soon and hire a Hindi tutor to pursue her career in Hindi cinema more seriously. Apparently, back home, her friends and family members are quite surprised about Amy’s decision to move to India and still can’t believe that she has acted in a South Indian film.
Recently, I came across some pics of this actress and couldn’t help tweeting about it. The ex-Miss Teen World -2008 has a killer body and looks stunning in these photo shoots for Australia’s ZOO magazine and FHM. I am not lying! The best part about the pics? They are NOT MORPHED! Ha!
